Generation of Vipers was the first short film I wrote and directed. It premiered at Raindance Film Festival in the Best British Shorts Competition.

Though a fairly brutal and unapologetic portrayal of youth, I have always wanted to create familiar characters, ones that remind you of someone close or someone from your past. Enigmatic characters who stay with you despite all their misgivings.

Alf was my first exploration into the use of a silent protagonist. One that I would later develop in Troy’s character in Two For Joy.
